APC offers emergency shelter for any victim of domestic violence or sexual assault in need of safe shelter regardless of age, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or lifestyle.
Our goal is to make each resident not only safe, but comfortable and secure.
Our facility includes rooms for single adults in a dorm style setting and rooms with attached bathrooms for families. Common areas include a kitchen, living room, dining room, and children’s play room. A fenced backyard provides outdoor privacy and a place for children to play.
Residents will have a Case Manager who is there to help them reach their goals. The case manager provides referrals and assistance in finding housing, employment, financial aid, childcare, health care and transportation.
A Children's Program Coordinator also helps parents and children during their shelter stay by supporting parents, connecting with schools, and providing children's activities and homework help.
